Biomass for energy is obtained from the remains of forest harvesting, from the industries of the first and second transformation of wood, from agricultural and forestry products, from residues from livestock farms, from the organic fraction of urban solid waste, of crops implanted and exploited for the sole purpose of obtaining biomass, the so-called energy crops, and, in general, of any product of organic origin capable of energy use.
Our partners’ Biomass plants are an integrated design concept from waste delivery up to flue gas cleaning and ash-separation optimised for high availability and reduced O&M.
Good correlation between low corrosion and steam-parameters leads to realistic and proven operating- hour-values above 8.000 hours/year.
